Jennifer Musial is an Associate Professor of Women’s and Gender Studies in the Department of Gender, Africana, and Latin American Studies at New Jersey City University (Jersey City, NJ).
Jennifer earned her Ph.D. in Women’s Studies (now Gender, Feminist, and Women’s Studies) at York University (Toronto, Ontario).
Research Interests: Broadly speaking, I examine the affective dimensions of reproductive citizenship. I am working on a book manuscript titled Pregnant Pause: Reproduction, Death, and Media Culture; Pregnant Pause looks at racialized grievability in narratives about fatal violence against pregnant women.
